​Lauren Irizarry - Founder

I have always had an interest to be a part of something that would make a difference in this world. Understanding who I was and what I could contribute drove my interests. In the middle of my Sophomore year in High School, I began creating Without A Roof with the goal in mind to help others and lead an organization. I am grateful for the many wonderful family members, leaders and teachers that help guide and direct me through this amazing learning process. The club is now starting its fourth year of service and running well thanks to incredible youth leaders.

After graduating from Oak Ridge High School in 2018, I served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Quetzaltenango Guatemala. I returned home last March early due to the pandemic. I am now continuing my education in Public Relations at Brigham Young University.
